A man has been accused of abusing two young boys sexually over a period of four years in the early 2000s.
Strike Force Dilley conducted lengthy investigations before the 58-year-old was apprehended in the Blue Mountains area on Friday morning.
The man’s relative allegedly sexually assaulted him in the early 2000s and told police about it.
In court, the police will claim that the guy sexually assaulted two young boys from January 2001 through December 2005.
On Friday, a search warrant was carried out at a residence in Yellow Rock, and several materials important to the inquiry were taken.
The man was accused of 40 charges of aggravated sexual assault and four counts of aggravated indecent assault on victims under the age of 16.
He was denied bail so that he could show up in court on Saturday in Parramatta.
Strike Force Dilley’s investigations are still ongoing.
