On one of Sydney’s busiest roads, an eight-car collision has caused significant delays in traffic.
The significant collision happened just before 3.30 p.m. on the M4 at Holroyd in western Sydney.
On the highway, there may have been a nose-to-tail crash involving up to eight vehicles.
Rescue workers are extracting a 30-year-old woman from one of the automobiles while at least three other individuals are hurt.
According to Live Traffic Sydney, there are presently two of the four eastbound lanes that are blocked.
Take cautious when passing and give yourself more time to get there, Live Traffic advised.
For several kilometers, traffic is backed up.
