Following an altercation between two males and a group of youths, five teenage boys have been accused in relation to a stabbing that occurred in a shopping center northwest of Melbourne.
After being stabbed in the food court of the shopping center in Taylors Lake at around 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, one of the men, a 19-year-old Sunbury resident, is in a critical condition in the hospital.
Soon later, the teens were detained in front of Watergardens Train Station.
According to Victoria Police, the 14-year-old boy charged with affray and wilfully causing serious injury was the youngest.
Four other people, three of whom are 17 years old, and one who is 16 years old, were all accused of fighting.
On Thursday, they are anticipated to show up for a remand hearing before a bail justice.
