A large crowd of eager Socceroos fans have caused chaos in Melbourne while watching the World Cup Soccer match, of Australia v Tunisia last night.
Police were called after receiving reports of rowdy behaviour by spectators watching the game about 10pm.
Thousands of fans flocked to Federation Square to support the Socceroos, however police said a select number of fans started igniting flares and throwing bottles into the crowd.
Police said three people were injured including a teenager who was burned to the leg by a flare and a 50-year-old woman cut to the head.
A man also received cuts to his feet from broken glass.
Police are investigating the incidents and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers.
