Queensland Police are nowadays continuing their look for a lost man accepted cleared absent in Gympie floodwaters.

This morning they have found the motorbike, head protector and rucksack of the 54-year-old nearby who is accepted not to have seen the quick moving floodwaters at Cedar Stash.

The town recently gotten the state’s heaviest sum of precipitation — around 300 mm of rain soaked the region, causing the adjacent Mary Stream to swell.

Roads have been split and somewhat cleared absent within the overwhelming rain.
