In Australian capital, Canberra, the country’s oldest parliament building, the historic John Gorton Building and the National Caroline are decorated in the colors of the Bangladeshi national flag.
This information has been given in a notification of Bangladesh High Commission in Australia on Friday.
The lighting will be on display from Friday evening until tomorrow morning.
The exhibition is being organized to mark the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh-Australia diplomatic relations as a token of friendship between the two governments.
Expatriate Bangladeshis and High Commission officials and employees enjoy this illumination.
On the occasion of the Independence Day of Bangladesh, similar lighting was displayed in the National Carolion on March 26.
