No compromise with the killers: Quamrul

Awami League Presidium Member Advocate Quamrul Islam said today that there is no compromise with BNP.”There is no compromise with BNP …no consensus could be reached with the killers,” he told a publication festival of a weekly at the Jatiya Press Club here.

National leader Shahid Captain M Mansur Ali Foundation organized the publication ceremony.

Quamrul said the new generation was grown up with the distorted history of the liberation war as anti-liberation forces were in power earlier, but now the new generation knows the real history of the liberation war during the regime of the present government. Calling up the freedom fighters to be united, he warned that a certain quarter is hatching a conspiracy to destroy the various constitutional entities.

State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said that the evil forces are trying to kill the incumbent Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. “Everybody should be more careful and form resistance against the killers of 1971,” he said.

Valiant freedom fighter Nasir Uddin Yousuf, Rezaul Karim, son of Shahid Captain M Mansur Ali attended the programme.Publisher and Editor of the weekly M Shehrin Selim Ripon chaired the function. Shahid Captain Mansur Ali Foundation’s general secretary Advocate Mujibur Rahman moderated it.
