Victoria’s Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed that the body of cricket legend Shane Warne arrived in Melbourne from Thailand on Thursday morning. The date and location of the memorial have since been announced

Shane Warne, a 52-year-old cricket star, was found dead on March 4 at a villa in Koh Samui, Thailand.

Thousands of people will gather at Victoria’s Melbourne Cricket Ground on March 30 for a state funeral in memory of cricket legend Shane Warne.

Premier Daniel Andrews said, “There will be no restrictions on public gatherings. The bigger the gathering, the more proud we will be. ‘
