Tragically, a nine-year-old kid has lost his life and his father is in critical condition following a collision between their e-bike and a Honda Odyssey on the Gold Coast yesterday.
At around 6:15 p.m., residents of Robina were alerted to the scene of a collision on Robina Town Centre Drive, close to Bayberry Lane.
He was 46 years old, and he was accompanied by his son, who was also in a critical condition.
Paramedics brought them both to Gold Coast University Hospital.
The young child succumbed to his wounds. Even as of tonight, his father’s condition remained critical.
A 47-year-old male motorist was sent to Gold Coast University Hospital for evaluation; his status is stable.
