A small plane crashed this morning at an airfield in western Victoria, killing one person on board.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau reports that at approximately 11:30 a.m., a Cessna 150 light plane crashed in a neighboring farm after taking off from Bacchus Marsh airstrip.
The unidentified pilot and only passenger on board the jet tragically passed away at the site.
An inquiry into transportation safety has been dispatched by the Australian Transportation Safety Bureaue from its Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, and Sydney offices.
