Targeted in an arson attack for the third time in less than a week is an Adelaide real estate office.
This time the fire completely destroyed the property and left the office empty; other nearby companies worried their buildings could be next.
The most recent incidence happened Friday at 2 a.m. at the LJ Hooker office on Grange Road in Flinders Park.
While on an early morning walk, a nearby employee noticed the fire and immediately summoned firefighters, who contained it within five minutes, therefore stopping it from spreading to other buildings.
Following the attack, neighbours running businesses express worries.
“For us, it is quite, quite crazy… Maria Cortes added, “We also have to look at security.
To be honest, “we don’t feel secure.”
Two people emerged from a white automobile parking up outside the real estate business, one of whom was carrying a jerry can, according to surveillance footage captured from a nearby building.
They left seconds later when the fire burst forth. Less than a week had passed when this third attack on the same company occurred.
Operation Eclipse, which is looking at related crimes connected to Adelaide’s tobacco turf war, is not looking at the incident.?
