There was an alleged attack at a home party in the Australian Capital Territory last Friday, and the police are asking for witnesses.
A gang of juveniles showed up unannounced to a Giralang house party in the northern suburbs of Canberra at around 8:15 p.m., according to the police.
Shortly thereafter, a “altercation” erupted, as reported by the ACT police.
Police have released footage that seems to show masked individuals kicking and hitting a man, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground.
Despite being on the ground, the purported attack persists for a few more seconds before the gang stops.
A male, aged 19, was subsequently sent to a medical facility for the treatment of severe facial injuries.
Although several onlookers did speak with authorities, the police are still seeking any other eyewitnesses to the assault.
