An individual is facing charges following an altercation at a shopping center on the Central Coast of New South Wales, where he allegedly brandished a hammer.
Two men, one in his 30s and the other in his 50s, got into an argument, and police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 10:30 a.m. yesterday on Lake Haven Drive in Lake Haven.
Pictures of what appears to be an altercation between the two guys on an escalator have gone viral, with one man brandishing a hammer.
After then, the two men departed.
Not long after that, at Wyong Police Station, authorities stated they had taken a 36-year-old male into custody.
The indictable offenses of affray and being armed with intent were brought against him.
At today’s Wyong Local Court hearing, the man’s bail was formally denied; his next appearance is scheduled for October 16.
