In a dramatic finale to a pursuit, police on the NSW Central Coast have apprehended a driver who allegedly struck other cars while picking up students from school.
In Gosford, video showed the reportedly stolen silver wagon colliding with a bus before police encircled it, weapons blazing.
Persevering, the motorist shoved another vehicle. The woman and child in the car seemed frightened but otherwise unharmed.
The motorist fled onto the sidewalk before being apprehended by law enforcement. The arrest was witnessed by students on their way home from Gosford High School.
According to reports, the vehicle was taken from East Gosford.
A 22-year-old is currently in police custody and is anticipated to face numerous accusations.
