An Australian man from Queensland is facing rape charges after his alleged departure from the country prompted his detention in Thailand.
He will now be extradited to Australia.
Helio Taiyang Richardson was apprehended at a resort on the island of Koh Phangan in southeastern Thailand, as seen on camera.
