A car has burst into flames on a northern Sydney road.
A car caught fire on Renown Road in North Rocks shortly before 3pm today, prompting firefighters to respond.
It took a crew of four 30 minutes to put out the fire, which gutted the automobile and wrecked the outside.
Paramedics treated one person, but there was no need for additional treatment.
The flames could be seen from hundreds of meters away, and dense black smoke billowed into the air.
