One of Scot Phillips’ final moments has been captured by CCTV before he was lured outside his Adelaide house and killed in a planned attack.
Yesterday evening at 10.20 p.m., the 19-year-old was at his Seaton residence on Carey Avenue when his power went out.
According to the police, he was attacked by at least one person and fatally stabbed during a “furious attack” when he stepped outside to look into the situation.
CCTV saw him and his buddies entering the Seaton Hotel around an hour earlier.
Unidentified friend expressed shock at Phillips’ unexpected passing and claimed he had been yelling for assistance.
“I’m angry, a 19-year-old good boy who would go out of his way to help anyone and there was no one there for his last dying minutes to help him,” he added.
”Scot was on the front doorstep by himself, screaming for help, and no one came.”
A youngster attempting to enter his own house let out a “blood-curdling scream” that a witness claimed to have heard yesterday.
Today, the dented front door screen revealed signs of a desperate attempt to escape.
Throughout the inquiry, numerous weapons have been found and a man has been taken into custody.
19-year-old Cooper Benny is charged with several crimes involving guns.
There are no murder charges against anyone.
The police are still conducting investigations.
The community left flowers at his house as a little memorial to the young life lost in such a brutal ambush.
