A fire that started in the central north of New South Wales claimed the lives of two hundred sheep that were on a truck.
Around 12.50 a.m. today, emergency personnel were alerted to a burning truck on the Mitchell Highway in Girilambone.
When they arrived, a road train was likewise on fire. 200 sheep on board were killed before firefighters tried to put out the fire.
The 32-year-old truck driver was not hurt.
The fire is being investigated by the police.
