A man was stabbed multiple times while attempting to protect a woman in Liverpool, a suburb of Sydney’s southwest, and is currently in the hospital.
About 2.20 in the morning, a man, 44, was discovered in Liverpool’s Macquarie Street with a stab wound to his chest.
The man attempted to stop a man who was abusing a woman in a parked car, but police have been informed that he was repeatedly stabbed for his actions.
According to the police, before the good Samaritan intervened, the victim had already been beaten in a car.
Due to the attack, nobody has been taken into custody.
Police are asking anyone with information or video of the event to get in touch with them as an investigation is underway.
