Witnesses report that an injured adolescent who had been stabbed close to his Adelaide house was discovered inside his car.
Following the stabbing incident on Leon Street in Salisbury North, north of Adelaide, yesterday, the 18-year-old was left with significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
According to witnesses, the deceased had barely been gone from his house for four minutes when he was discovered several hundred meters away, stabbed to death.
When a resident in the area noticed the teenager on Alexandra Street, family members hurried to assist him.
Qassem Alhariri, a neighbour, heard the victim blow his horn several times and was among the first to arrive at the site.
“I went to him and the car was full of blood and he was just shouting, ‘Help me, help me’,” said Qassem Alhariri.
“It was pretty bad, like he had a couple of wounds to his stomach and then two to his thighs.”
The sufferer is still receiving care in the hospital, according to friend Mohammed Alhariri.
“I don’t think we’re allowed to go in until he comes out of emergency because he lost a lot of blood,” stated the doctor.
According to SA Police, the attack was not unplanned.
