At Queensland’s Russell Island, which is close to Brisbane, a man’s body has been recovered from the water.
Around 1:30 this afternoon, there were reports of an upturned boat at a jetty close to High Street, prompting emergency services to be contacted.
The circumstances surrounding the incident with the Coastguard are currently being investigated by the police.
