In front of tourists in the Northern Territory, an argument over food has taken a grisly turn.
Another crocodile, named Dominator, ambushed a three-meter-long crocodile that was being fed by an Adelaide River leaping crocodile tour.
Most of the fight was fought underwater, and then Dominator came back up holding the other croc’s leg in his mouth.
The largest and most notorious reptile in the territory, “Dominator,” ambushed a three-meter-long crocodile that an Adelaide River cruise was feeding.
For passengers on the boat, it was quite the spectacle and a shock.
But Dominator has consumed one of his own before in front of startled tourists.
On the Adelaide River near Darwin in May of last year, the largest and most notorious reptile in the territory—who is thought to be over 80 years old—was spotted biting and thrashing a young croc to within meters of another boat.
