The owner of a pack of dogs that attacked two ladies in the northwest of Melbourne says the incidents have devastated her.
The cross-breeds allegedly attacked a young mother pushing a baby in a pram on Withers Close in Sunbury yesterday afternoon.
The same creatures are said to have mauled a 71-year-old just 400 meters distant the day before.
“It’s crushed my heart,” the owner of the dog exclaimed.
“My heart is broken. And I feel ashamed. I feel ashamed,” she murmured.
“I adore my four legged friends. They were my family; I apologise.”
Right now, the conditions of both women are stable.
The dogs have reportedly been the subject of months’ worth of complaints from neighbours to the local government.
