In an Adelaide road rage incident, a guy was attacked with an axe.
Earlier this week, Jarod Henderson was travelling in his Ford Falcon along Whites Road at Paralowie when a black Volvo approached from behind.
Henderson claimed that as the Volvo passed him dangerously, he beeped his horn in frustration.
“He almost took out my front end and I honked on my horn for a few seconds, I was a bit annoyed,” Henderson stated.
“He jumped on the brake, came to a complete stop and jumped out.”
An axe was used to destroy the windscreen and rear passenger glass of Henderson’s vehicle.
“I just put my head down and my partner, we both put our heads down,” Henderson stated.
“He struck my window squarely with one. He pointed to the windscreen and added, “My head’s right behind here.”
“Carrying stuff like that in a car is insane. I don’t want to drive because of it.”
Just before the incident, the two automobiles were captured on camera travelling along the street.
Henderson’s mum described the circumstances as frightening.
“As a mum, getting a phone call that someone’s attacked your son’s car with an axe is pretty scary,” Felicity Henderson stated.
