A man has been charged with stabbing a driver inside his vehicle at a Perth crossroads.
About five o’clock yesterday evening, a man in his 30s was sitting in his car near Newcastle and Lord Street when two men came along.
He was allegedly assaulted by the two, and his legs were slashed twice.
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening when they were brought to Royal Perth Hospital.
According to the police, the three males are acquainted.
A 41-year-old Bayswater resident is one of the accused perpetrators; he was charged with one count each of common assault and illegal wounding today.
Today, he will appear before Perth Magistrates Court.
While investigations continue, police are still looking for the second man.
