After he was allegedly beaten in Adelaide’s party strip, a man is battling for his life.
When paramedics arrived early this morning, they discovered the 20-year-old unconscious on Hindley Street.
They immediately took him to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Witnesses claimed that shortly before 5:30 a.m. today, a fight over a lady led to the outbreak of violence.
The claimed victim suffered from a brain bleed, crushed ribs, and a broken temple while allegedly out for the evening with his girlfriend.
Following the incident, witnesses reported seeing a group running down Cosmopolitan Arcade; police subsequently detained a 23-year-old Clearview man who was in the area.
There is a charge of assault causing serious harm against the alleged attacker.
The victim’s serious condition is still present in the hospital.
