After going missing from a campsite in Queensland’s Darling Downs throughout the night, a woman has been discovered dead.
At approximately 11:40 p.m., the 21-year-old Brisbane lady was last observed at the campgrounds located on Inverramsay Road in Goomburra Valley.
Emergency services were contacted and a search and rescue effort was started when she could not be found.
At first light this morning, a ground-based search was restarted following an aircraft search.
Around eight in the morning, the woman was discovered dead close by, and the police will write a report for the coroner.
