After he was allegedly assaulted in Perth, a 70-year-old man was admitted to the hospital.
About three in the morning, the man was allegedly shoved over by two males as he was strolling through a parking lot on Cockleshell Brace in Jindalee.
Then, as he lay on the ground, the two men are said to have punched and kicked him; the incident was caught on neighboring CCTV.
A person who saw the alleged attack described the man’s wounds.
“He had a very bad black eye, with a lot of blood,” stated Stephen Radford, the witness.
“Blood all over his whole face, the whole lot.”
After being admitted to a Perth hospital’s intensive care unit, the 70-year-old man’s condition is now stable.
A 21-year-old and a 22-year-old were later taken into custody.
