The remains of a lady discovered in a bin at a Melbourne tip is shrouded in mystery.
The female resident of a house in Coolaroo, in the northern part of the city, hasn’t been seen since last month.
Detectives have focused in on her using GPS and security footage from the trash truck.
According to Mark News, a middle-aged woman who moved into the Hilgay Street address approximately eight weeks ago is the current occupant.
The green bin that the police suspect held her remains was picked up on Tuesday morning and found the following day by workers at an Epping waste site.
Police examined the house yesterday in search of signs of foul play.
In order to connect the victim to this street, forensics gathered tree clippings from Julie and Darren’s house across the street and compared them to those discovered in the trash that day.
They declared themselves “very shocked” by the events.
The woman who lived there, according to the neighbors, was quiet.
Although she didn’t own a car, she frequently saw a man’s silver car parked in the driveway.
In the days preceding the discovery, a different resident claimed to have witnessed a guy removing trash cans from the property.
