At approximately 6.30 p.m. yesterday, according to the police, a white Mitsubishi Rosa minibus and a Mercedes vehicle collided at the intersection of Tuart Drive and Bussell Highway in Yalyalup, close to Busselton.
The automobile’s 18-year-old female driver passed away at the spot.
Her female passenger, 17, was taken to Bunbury Regional Hospital after suffering severe injuries.
The bus’s 23-year-old driver managed to escape unharmed.
The circumstances surrounding the collision will be looked at by the Crash Investigations Unit.
