Attacked as he sought to do his job on Sydney’s northern beaches was a teenage delivery driver.
After rocks were hurled at Luke Egan’s car in Freshwater, shattering practically every window and both windscreens, police are looking for up to eight persons.
Just after 7pm yesterday night, Glass broke all around him as he drove down Kooloora Avenue.
“I peered in the back vision mirror as I halted the automobile. I just saw eight people sprinting at me and pegging pebbles all across the rear window. “When it first happened I thought it was just two people so I was about to go out and go ‘what’s going on.'”
“Eight guys were there as I went to hop out.”
Young people also shattered windows in a family house.
Chris Hudson claimed to be seated exactly near the window.
“I could have been sitting there with my newborn and rock could have passed through that window so it’s quite concerning,” he remarked.
Police looked over the streets and pulled CCTV.
Egan nevertheless made sure the meal was delivered by walking to the residence despite damage to his vehicle.
