After allegedly assaulting and attempting to carjack another adolescent, a teenager has been charged.
After reportedly attacking a man last night in Adelaide while attempting to steal an automobile, a teenager has been taken into custody.
At approximately 11:15 p.m. in Rostrevor, the young man allegedly hit the automobile owner multiple times as he was demanding to take possession of his vehicle.
Police were told the teen was fought off by the owner of the vehicle.
He was transported by ambulance to the hospital after suffering head injuries.
A juvenile who was allegedly carrying a weapon was apprehended by police when they arrived.
The 18-year-old male was accused with assaulting police, interfering illegally, and aggravated robbery.
He will now appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today after being denied police bail.
After being hauled from the scene, the car was examined by forensics.
