After they reportedly stole a Melbourne woman’s car while carrying a machete, three teens have been prosecuted.
The three adolescents allegedly approached the woman at Williams Landing about 3 p.m. on Thursday while she was in her car.
The woman was allegedly threatened by the youths, who then allegedly made her get out of the car and drove off.
The woman claimed one of the youngsters had threatened to kill her in an interview with 3AW.
The woman informed the police about the event despite not having any physical injuries.
A few hours later, the three teenagers were taken into custody in Taylors Lake.
The woman was given back her Lexus SUV.
A few of the woman’s neighbours expressed their shock at the incident to Mark News.
A seventeen-year-old and two fifteen-year-olds were accused of aggravated carjacking.
At a later time, all three will appear in children’s court.
