A guy died following an alleged stabbing at a Thai restaurant in Queensland.
Just 20 minutes before the restaurant’s scheduled opening at 5 p.m., emergency personnel were summoned to the Joy Thai restaurant in the Townsville suburb of Kirwan.
Police officers discovered a man with several critical injuries, and despite attempts to revive him, he died on the site.
A man in his thirties was arrested at the scene and was assisting police with their investigations, according to reports tonight.
Earlier reports stated that a lady was also stabbed, however police claimed no one else was hurt in the incident.
Officers are also speaking with several other people on the scene, and there is no current threat to the public.
