After they reportedly caused damage to two hair salons and a cafe in Adelaide, two men have been prosecuted.
At 2:30 in the morning today, two people were taken into custody: a 25-year-old guy from Noarlunga Downs and a 23-year-old from O’Sullivan Beach.
The two were seen on camera purportedly trying to enter a hair salon on State’s Road.
The two were seen on camera hurling multiple pebbles at the front window.
Later, in Hackam, there was another target—a hairdresser.
When hairdresser Anna Lee Plumb arrived at the Salon on Penneys Hill Road after receiving a call from the police early in the morning, she found significant damage to her business.
The two had earlier in the evening allegedly stolen a phone and some cash. “This is how I make a living,” Plumb stated. “If I don’t work I don’t get any money” .
It also allegedly targeted a nearby cafe. Police discovered the males hidden in bushes on Doctors Road after investigating the area.
Following the pair’s arrest, police discovered objects they believed to be stolen.
The two guys were accused of a number of charges, such as stealing, unlawful interference, and significant criminal trespass.
Both the 25-year-old and the 23-year-old were given bail and will appear in court later.
