Russell Hill and Robyn Hill’s childhood love Carol Clay passed away at a camping in Victoria’s High Country after more than 50 years of marriage.
During her testimony in the trial of former Jetstar pilot Greg Lynn, who is charged with killing the couple, Mrs. Hill’s voice faltered a few times.
Lynn has entered a not guilty plea to the two murder counts. According to his defence, the fatalities were unintentional.
Debra Hill, the daughter of Mr. Hill, spoke in court as well.
She said that a few days after she stopped hearing her husband’s voice during their frequent radio rendezvous, she told her mother to call the police.
