Police are searching for a knifeman during a home invasion north of Brisbane.
The invader allegedly forced entry into an Aspley residence about 9.45 p.m. on Friday before threatening a family with a knife.
Police say he fled the scene empty-handed. Nobody was physically wounded.
“This is absolutely terrifying,” resident Pauline Bartz said. “We’ve been here 20 years and nothing has ever happened like that.”
“The knife was pretty scary…he kept saying ‘come on, come on’,” recalled Jeff, the husband.
