A man from New South Wales is accused of over seventy past sexual offences with putative minors as victims.
In October 2022, police formed a strike group to look into allegations of historical sexual assault in the state’s Central West.
Three of the four females who had allegedly been sexually molested between 1974 and 2023 were under the age of sixteen.
This information was supposedly uncovered by investigators. At 8:45 a.m. yesterday, a 63-year-old man was taken into custody from a Forbes residence after a thorough investigation.
Acts of indecency with a girl under the age of sixteen, attempted rape, aggravated indecent assault, aggravated sexual assault, committing an act of indecency, having sex with someone under the age of sixteen and over the age of fourteen, aggravated sexual assault, having sex without consent, and assault with an indecent act were among the seventy-nine charges brought against him.
Strict conditional bail was granted, requiring him to appear in court on May 21.
