Following the discovery of pipe bombs in a storage shed close to Brisbane, a 35-year-old auto electrician has been prosecuted.
Yesterday, three “suspicious devices” were discovered by Queensland Police when they raided a storage shed in Brendale, Moreton Bay.
The bomb squad was called in, the building was evacuated, and the streets were closed.
Police said they had located and dismantled three pipe bombs.
Ethan Brumley, an auto electrician, was arrested and accused of three charges of trafficking in explosives illegally.
He appeared in Brisbane’s Magistrates Court today without requesting bail.
He is also accused of several more offences. Brumley has been remanded in detention to appear in court the following month.
