Following the death of a young man by stabbing in a south Brisbane park, police are searching for the person responsible.
Around 12:10 in the morning, numerous stab wounds to the abdomen were discovered on a male who had been taken to a park on Mortimer Road in Acacia Ridge by emergency personnel.
The victim, age 22, passed away in spite of the paramedics’ best attempts. Bosco Minyurano has been recognized as the man.
His distraught family went to the park while detectives searched for his purported killer, who left before they could get there.
According to a relative, Minyurano was a kind and kind individual with a long list of athletic accomplishments.
Detective Inspector Craig McDonald stated that Minyurano is thought to have known his purported killer and that the two of them were a member of a big group that had spent the night together at the park.
At a press conference, he declared, “It looks like there has been an altercation and someone has been stabbed.”
“We have a number of people assisting detectives.”
According to a witness, the group seemed to consist of six individuals.
According to Taryn Loudon, “alcohol was present on the scene, and they were drinking.”
“There’s sort of been a bit of lead up to something.”
