Following an altercation in the parking lot of the Crime and Corruption Commission headquarters building in Brisbane, a guy carrying an axe in his luggage turned himself in to police.
At approximately 4:20 p.m., police got a report of a 49-year-old male who was armed and inside the CCC building on Saint Pauls Terrace in Fortitude Valley.
Queensland officers released a statement saying, “At 5.45pm, the man was taken into custody by police who have since located a small tomahawk in the man’s bag.”
He’s helping the cops with their inquiries right now.
What motivated him is unknown.
