Following a head-on collision in Sydney’s north on Monday, a second individual has passed away.
Just about 4.40 am on Monday, a Ford heading south on the Pacific Motorway collided with three vehicles travelling north, two kilometres north of the Wahroonga exit at Ku Ring Gai.
After the incident, a 96-year-old man who was thought to be the Ford’s driver was brought to the Royal North Shore Hospital; he died two days later on Wednesday night.
While paramedics from NSW Ambulance treated three other patients, a 27-year-old male motorist passed away at the scene.
Additionally, a 39-year-old male motorist was admitted to the hospital with minor injuries and had to undergo required testing.
A thirty-five-year-old truck driver was sent to Hornsby Hospital for required testing.
