In Sydney’s north, a car collided head-on with three other vehicles, including a truck, leaving a 27-year-old man dead and an elderly driver critically injured.
Emergency services were summoned to the Pacific Motorway, approximately 2 km north of the Wahroonga exit, just before 4:40 in the morning.
Dashcam film shows a southbound Ford swerving into the northbound lane and then colliding with a truck and two other vehicles.
While paramedics attended to the other three, a 27-year-old male passed away at the spot.
The driver of the Ford, a 96-year-old man, is reportedly in severe condition at the hospital.
