Following a single-vehicle collision in Sydney’s southwest last night, there has been a second death.
Around 9.30 p.m., an SUV traveling on King Georges Road in South Hurstville collided with a wall, killing a 75-year-old woman.
After receiving emergency care, the 86-year-old male motorist was transported to St. George Hospital in critical condition.
This afternoon, at the hospital, he died.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been initiated by the police.
Although there was some traffic disruption following the incident, things are again back to usual.
