After jumping off a bridge at a popular tourist destination close to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, a man lost his life.
Per the police, the man jumped off the Noosa Sound Bridge in Noosa at around one in the morning today.
His companions became frightened when he did not return.
When emergency personnel arrived, they started a search and rescue operation to locate the man.
His body was found in the seas approximately five hours later.
While jumping off the bridge is a common tourist activity in the area, there have been multiple safety warnings issued by emergency services due to this behavior.
