Three men are facing charges for to allegedly running an advanced $5 million drug operation out of the western region of Sydney.
A strike force was formed in 2023 with the goal of looking into the supply of cocaine coming from a well-known criminal network by employing the “dial-a-dealer” approach, which entails calling a dealer and arranging a meeting spot before making the trade.
It was discovered that three important ring members were purportedly in charge of the drugs.
Yesterday, police raided three homes in Bass Hill and Parramatta. During the raid, several cell phones, three cars, around $10,000 in high-end and designer merchandise, two thousand dollars in cash, and other pertinent materials were taken.
“Police will allege in court the syndicate were responsible for selling approximately 500 ‘bags’ of cocaine a week, generating approximately $5 million a year,” police stated today.
A dramatic police vision depicted the arrest of a 22-year-old male at Bass Hill.
He was brought to the Bankstown Police Station, where he was charged with 13 offences, five of which were membership in a criminal organisation and continuous supply of illegal substances.
After being denied bail, he showed up in court today.
Two men, ages 24 and 26, were detained at the Parramatta address and brought to the Granville Police Station, where they were each accused of seven offences.
The two will appear in court in April and were given stringent conditional bail.
