A guy who was shot during an alleged home invasion in the southern region of New South Wales is recuperating in the hospital.
At approximately 11:15 p.m. yesterday, emergency personnel were dispatched to Carrathool Street in Griffith, where they discovered a guy suffering from gunshot wounds to his leg.
When the man was shot, according to police, three men forced their way inside the house through the front door.
There were reports of a gun threat against the home’s second occupant, but no injuries were reported.
After that, the supposed house intruders left the area.
The other male occupant drove the sufferer to Griffith Base Hospital, from where he was stabilised and subsequently transported to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
An enquiry into the incident has been launched, and a crime scene has been established.
The public is not at continuous risk, according to the police.
