A guy who allegedly attempted to assault a female employee at the University of New South Wales has been taken into custody by police.
The woman claimed that at around 6.20 a.m. today, at the Kensington campus on High Street, she had received a threat from a man brandishing a knife.
She was unharmed.
The individual had reportedly been on the run and was being sought after by police previously.
About 1.25 p.m., the 30-year-old was eventually found at a Bondi Junction address on Newland Street.
The man was transported to the Maroubra Police Station, where he is helping investigators with their inquiries, after a knife was found at the site.
