The murder of a Toowoomba lady who was discovered dead in her front yard is shrouded in mystery.
In an attempt to ascertain what happened to 55-year-old Leanne Falkingham, who was discovered yesterday afternoon close to her Harristown, Queensland, home, police are requesting the public’s assistance.
Police questioned and then freed a man.
The property was located on a public highway, according to Detective Inspector Paula Smithard, and authorities were urging anybody “who may have seen or heard anything in the area of Buckland Street around the time of the incident to come forward”.
According to Smithard, the police were uncertain about the woman’s death’s timeline and had not yet classified it as suspicious or not.
“A 49-year-old Harristown man was initially assisting police with their enquiries but has since been released,” police stated.
