After a parked, empty motorhome rolled down a hill and struck a woman walking a stroller southeast of Melbourne, police are looking into the incident.
At approximately ten in the morning today, the motorhome was rolling down Belgrave-Gembrook Road in Emerald, according to the police.
The motorhome crashed into a store’s porch after hitting a woman wheeling a stroller with a toddler inside.
The 70-year-old Emerald woman was taken to the hospital after suffering severe injuries.
According to the authorities, neither the little child inside the stroller nor any other person within the business were hurt.
The incident, which allegedly occurred just across from the Emerald unit on Belgrave-Gembrook Road, was also investigated by the Victorian SES.
A Vic SES representative stated, “Our units responded to reports of a mini-bus into a structure.”
The VICSES team is supporting Ambulance Victoria by helping with scene and patient protection.
“The VICSES crew remain on scene and will also assist with temporary stabilisation to the building structure.”
